In this tour, groups will be guided by one of our brewing staff and learn more about the brewing process and our methods, as well as the sustainable and organic practices we employ both as brewers and as a company. On the tour you'll be treated to three 5oz. beer samples to taste as well as a souvenir pint glass to take home with you!

Herbal Meadows Botanicals teaches you how to create three small handcrafted salves. We will discuss a few native plants that you can forage to add to your salve-making practices at home, learn to weigh oils, butter & local beeswax as well as a brief discussion on oil infusions. Make & take three 1 oz. salves accompanied with a lifetime of knowledge while spending the evening with like-minded people. We use top-shelf olive oil for the base, and beeswax from our hives, and provide over 30 Now Essential Oils to choose from. You will be provided with everything you need and leave with:
We are offering two workshops at the same time; 6:30-8 pm! If you want to make both items; we can make it happen! You will need to purchase tickets for both if you want to make both items. Tickets are available for salve & beeswax candle making.
The cost is $28.00 per person and includes all materials and instruction. Advance payment is required to reserve your space. The payment deadline is April 17th. Limited seating is available.
A minimum of 10 participants is required for this class to take place, or refunds will be issued. No other refunds will be granted.

Bike Buchanan is a weekly gathering of cyclists with multiple ride groups offering all levels of experience, speed, distance, and terrain types - pavement or gravel. After our ride, enjoy the company, $1 off beer/beverage, tasty food, and the scenery at the gorgeous River St. Joe Brewery.

After Labor Day rides leave at 6 pm, so get there at 5:45.
What to expect when joining a Bike Buchanan group ride:
- The Bike Buchanan Participant Waiver is to be signed prior to joining for a ride!
- Participants will follow instructions given by the organizers before and during group rides.
- Participants will ride no more than two abreast per Michigan law (MCL 257.660b)
- Participants will, to the best of their ability, alert other riders of obstructions and pot holes in the road, as well as directional changes in the route using appropriate hand motions and audible signals.
- Participants will, to the best of their ability, alert other riders of traffic from ahead of and behind the group. Respect each other, and who we share the roads with. Follow all traffic laws.
- A ride lead occupies each group, they will guide you on our routes, set the pace, instill bike/road etiquette, and provide assistance in case of an issue that may arise on the ride. Please abide by their direction.
- Helmets are mandatory. Wearing bright colors, water/snacks to keep you comfortable on the ride, and front/rear bike lights are strongly encouraged.
- Bike Buchanan supports all bike experience levels and bike types! We offer around ~8 different groups that vary in pace, distance, and terrain. There is a group for everyone no matter your experience level!
- We understand that our ride generally brings many people together, and we also understand that a large group of riders could be intimidating for someone who is just starting out. We can’t stress enough that you will be welcomed and guided to a group based on your personal bike experience(s).

All routes are on pavement roads unless stated ‘GRAVEL’
🚲 1. 'Smiles for Miles' ~ 11 miles. Group set, easy-going pace. No drop.

What to expect when joining a Bike Buchanan group ride:
- The Bike Buchanan Participant Waiver is to be signed prior to joining for a ride!
- Participants will follow instructions given by the organizers before and during group rides.
- Participants will ride no more than two abreast per Michigan law (MCL 257.660b)
- Participants will, to the best of their ability, alert other riders of obstructions and pot holes in the road, as well as directional changes in the route using appropriate hand motions and audible signals.
- Participants will, to the best of their ability, alert other riders of traffic from ahead of and behind the group. Respect each other, and who we share the roads with. Follow all traffic laws.
- A ride lead occupies each group, they will guide you on our routes, set the pace, instill bike/road etiquette, and provide assistance in case of an issue that may arise on the ride. Please abide by their direction.
- Helmets are mandatory. Wearing bright colors, water/snacks to keep you comfortable on the ride, and front/rear bike lights are strongly encouraged.
- Bike Buchanan supports all bike experience levels and bike types! We offer around ~8 different groups that vary in pace, distance, and terrain. There is a group for everyone no matter your experience level!
- We understand that our ride generally brings many people together, and we also understand that a large group of riders could be intimidating for someone who is just starting out. We can’t stress enough that you will be welcomed and guided to a group based on your personal bike experience(s).

A consistent night of the week and an opportunity to bring people of all skill levels together to learn, improve, and PLAY MORE BOCCE!
HOW does Thursday Night Bocce work?
The level of participation each week will determine the flow. Open play, practice, and games: the more players, the more fun.
We hope to develop into leagues and pop-up tournaments as the year progresses!

Bocce is enjoyable, relieves stress, helps improve coordination, sharpens your mind, is a light cardio workout, and improves flexibility. Anyone can play!
